The bronze has a chocolate patina with a Cupid in action. A pretty carving, a beautiful decoration on the bottom. The rod has a different color on the back, it was probably reattached later. The bronze is in good general condition, we report, for the most picky, wear of the gilding, a few points of verdigris especially on the back of the feet, friction and micro-scratches from use.
